Path to Enlightenment

Since the beginning of my work with Sanatkumara in the 1980’s many personal and life-changing shifts have taken place for me.  Not to mention all the places I was asked to live in and travel to.  All for the release of energy; both mine personally and for planetary change. For the past 8 years I sought out the proverbial cave, which is often referred to in Buddhism as a place of refuge with the Buddha a symbol of enlightenment. The cave represents the inner journey, a place of solace to contemplate and reflect.

Recently I moved from the cave to a new perceptive and awareness. I also moved into a new house unlike anything I have had ever lived in. This new residence represents something very different for me. There are no trees and no nature around the house. The only nature is crystalline bits in the concrete. For months I have been confused of the significance of this new awareness and house. Although this new house gives me a beautiful view (no one behind or in front of me) I still crave the energy of nature. For 6 months I wondered ‘why here’.

The answer to this, “why here?” question came to me just the other day.  The concrete represents the concrete world, no more hiding away—time to come out of the cave—the refuge is complete. The two-stories of the house represent a new vantage point. I’m up into the world to be seen. Also seeing above the mundane.

In the process of enlightenment one must dig deep into the emotional rhetoric and seek to bring light to those areas of darkness/shadow that we all have.  During the refuge I sought out the pieces that were missing within me from early childhood and through a silent practice I healed the old patterning.

Around birth the Soul downloads into the physical being and the personality takes shape. This personality is formed by its surroundings, parents, other family members, teachers, nuns and priests and others it encounters.  Extended communities also contribute to the shaping of the personality/ego.  The Soul then guides the personality to experience life.

Ideally, we want to merge the personality/ego with the Soul journey to find peace and happiness. Otherwise, this internal conflict creates ungroundedness, disharmony, and unhappiness. We then are unable to decide what we want from life—struggle and suffering takes center stage.

The Soul comes to Earth for growth and advancement, so one day the life/death processes can cease and we commune in a space of radiance and total spiritual freedom.  Then with this expanded wisdom we consciously choose to come back to Earth or not—or rest in the totality of the bigger picture of creation.

As the personality and Soul merge we learn to love the total picture of the Self.  Not only the little self, the part of us that constantly seeks outer adoration, but the larger Self, the part that knows of this journey, the spiritual part of us.

As we commune with the higher Self, we lose the ‘need’ to seek happiness from things.  The journey from the outer world becomes an inner journey to redefine internal relationships we most definitely have not built, and to heal the sense of separation from the lower and higher, and from the feminine and masculine self.

We seem to be wound up like tight-tops about to blow our lids seeking love in all the wrong places.  And tell ourselves little lies about what is right or wrong and wonder why our lives do not change. Your mission here is to love all parts of the Self.  Allow the lower self to merge with the higher Self. This process takes time.

Enlightenment is no great mystery.  It is available for anyone who inquires and wants to make a commitment to the Self. This journey, which we all are on, is to seek, the solace in our every day lives, in the routine, in the western world and embrace the peace of conscious enlightenment and still enjoy the world around us. 

My true work is unfolding daily. The journey with Sanatkumara all well worth it. I am to help you build a new understanding between spirit and human.  I am the integration of the polarity between the lower and higher Self.  I’m here to heal within each of you the separation (be it unconscious or conscious) and create the sacred union of the female and male aspects of the Self.

In the past the teachings fell upon a structure that was not yet ready to receive. Now the awakening is from the inside out. Because I have cleared my vehicle now you can clear your vehicle. There is a model--a new paradigm set into place.
